I like that steak comes from cows. That is why a cow will not think twice about eating you.

I was in school 3 of the 4 years Komives was playing, and in my opinion,is the BEST men’s basketkball player we have had at BG since 1961.
He was not only a GREAT scorer, but a tremendous defensive player.
In our Regional NCAA game against in 1963, he scored 25 against Tal Brody, who was considered the best defensive player in the Big10, on basically one leg because of a hamstring pull.
He led the nation in scoring his senior year and if he would have had the 3 pt rule would have averaged over FORTY per game!
Great player.

Joe Faine is still probably my favorite falcon of all time. If only he didn't get that stupid injury just dunking a ball.

Faine was a name I remember from the BG / TU games broadcast on local TV (11 with Oris Tanner if I remember correctly). As a little kid my parents and grandparents were clear we were a Falcon Family. Those broadcast disappeared by the time I arrived on campus in the late 80’s as Comcast or the like took over.

The article presented a perfect case for all 3 men. Let’s move forward BG Athletics and get it done.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Orris TABner. And when the games were on NBC, it was Frank Gilhooley and his infamous "good looking shot" line for every shot taken...LOL

But, this is the MAC hall, so not much BG can do on their own I would imagine. Komives is clearly a ridiculous oversight. Not sure either Faine did enough though.
