The pods do give Miami a bit of a shorter travel guarantee here which may be enough to keep them around in the league.
That, and they still haven't found a spare $1 million between the couch cushions for the exit fee.

Hard to save money to leave the conference when you’re already saving money to fire your head coach…

I’ve heard some… not great things about Spratt from his time here, so… not really interested in wishing him well at NMU. No shade to you bringing your information here, TUPD - it’s always appreciated. Just… not heard very nice things about the guy.

Jimmy was/is OK.
A number of people found his dad to be abrasive to anyone critical of his son.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Fun times.

My brother and I have hung out with Jimmy a few times, he used to do a goalie summer camp in Toledo and my nephew attended a couple years in a row. Good kid, proud Falcon. Happy to see him moving up the college coaching ranks, even if it's with a rival.

Interesting remark from someone on a hockey message board about Miami and the CCHA. Think I remember someone saying on here things got contentious between BG and Miami when a player transferred from either BG to Miami or Miami to BG. Correct me if I'm wrong. I wouldn't think BG would want to lose out on close travel within the conference if Miami did end up leaving the NCHC but who knows.

"In addition to that Bowling Green the closest CCHA team to Miami has an ongoing feud as well and refuses to schedule Miami for the last few years, so I would also question whether BGSU would support Miami's bid to enter the CCHA"

The circumstances around Cullen's transfer weren't exactly gentlemanly or professional. Borderline NCAA violation had the issue been pushed.

Regardless of the douchebaggery that the Oxfordites live for, I think we'd be good with them joining the CCHA. Besides, Berge and Barry are getting whacked after this season so the slate (pun intended) theoretically wipes clean going forward.

I'm fine with them staying irrelevant in the NCHC. It seems like they are too.

I think the same can be said for Ty and the staff at BG.

If they can't win 20+ against the garbage schedule they rolled out this year, I don't see how he keeps his job.
Pretty hard to sell luxury suites when/if you are losing to Robert Morris, Mercyhurst, Augustana.......etc.. or being swept at home in the playoffs.

This offseason is so dull I thought I'd notify everyone that I just downloaded the new BG Athletics ticketing app on my iPhone. It does everything one would expect a ticketing app to do so, while not earthshattering in the general sense, kudos to the athletic department for bringing us into the 2020's.

Consider yourselves updated on how I plan to access my season tickets this year. Please DM me if you have specific questions.
