Liberty was ranked #1 in the country last year in TFLs and #3 in sacks. I’m keeping that in mind as I evaluate this offensive performance.

That's a helluva statement to make one quarter into the season.
Offensive line is still terrible, qb is average at best, defense is unathletic, and the special teams are embarrassing. It does not look to me like anything has changed from last year except maybe the defense has less talent. Am I wrong about any of these observations ?

14-0 going to be a mighty big hill to climb.

How do you defend against a mobile QB? Like, when everything is covered well but he just scrambles for 30 yards, what do you do?
It's the hardest thing to do at any level. Mobile QBs win everywhere; the NFL has only lessened the reliance on them because so few can survive a season or career of NFL hits. At HS and College you're needlessly shooting yourself in the foot to not have a mobile QB.

As for how to stop them, with the caveat it's nearly impossible, it is almost entirely on the discipline of your front 7. Your rushers can NOT give up their gap in an effort to "win" a rush rep. Outside contain is important, but they also cannot get too far upfield. Maintaining gap integrity across the front becomes more important than the actual rush/pressure. And of course the second level must do the same while also maintaining their coverage responsibilities.

Once an athletic QB has a lane to step through or can escape outside? You hope to hold them to a 1st and not a TD at that point.

Halfway through the 2nd quarter, we have 21 rushing yards. The only way we were going to be better this year was if we could run the ball consistently.

Brutal.

There's a reason why he left Missouri and Indiana.

Fire the special teams coach. We might be the worst ST unit in the country. This is disgusting.

Man we’re losing at the LOS so badly. Football isn’t complicated, smart skill players and a good bunch in the trenches does a lot
