That runrunrun drive was nice. The defense was mostly tolerable in the half. Specials are basically tied 7-7 between the kickoff gaffe canceling the scoop 'n score.

On a team with an established order you cannot yank a QB after one half. But in a world where we had an open competition and didn't announce a starter until game time? Man I'd have a real hard time putting Bazelaks back out there. He has single handedly put us in this hole.

Bazelak has a very talented arm and good pocket presence, but every time he puts a tiny amount of juice on a throw it’s way overthrown. Gotta go to Orth and Anderson for the second half to try some new things.

Bazelak hasn't been the same since he tore his ACL in late 2019. Easy to see why he filtered his way down to the G5 level.

This is the only decent take I could possibly agree with in this thread so far.

But I'd give him time to settle down.

Averaging 7 yards per rush. Loeffler says we need to play to our strengths…

Another kick return taken to the 11 yard line when we could’ve had it at the 25 for free.

Come on, man. This has been the rule for a few years now. Take the free yards.

4 for 13 with 32 yards and 3 picks is inexcusable. Would love to see someone else have a shot

Bazelak in to start the 2nd half. We’re riding with the guy.

Seems like the new gameplan is to go to more quick throws and get the run game/Fannin more involved.

This is a very nice opening drive for the half. Punch it in.

One score game but more bonehead penalties.

Someone who knows football better tell me why that Patterson block was a penalty. I feel like I see that exact block a million times per game.

That really hurts to lose the 4pts but still a very nice drive. Bazelak is frustrating, if talented. We can still win this game if the defense keeps playing well.

Bazelak has a quicker realse than McDonald...but he's struggled throwing downfield
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
