Liberty hits a FG and they’re up 34-24 with 2:52 to play.

They were 14-point dogs to Indiana State and shut them out.

Loeffler does a very bad job of simplifying his system and of having fundamentally solid teams.

9 penalties for 86 yards. 11/31 passing with 5 interceptions. 2/12 on 3rd down.

Lots to work on. Time to get to it.

Beat Eastern Illinois.

When you hire a coach because of his development of quarterbacks, but he can’t find or develop a quarterback.

That’s like hiring a baseball alum at AD because of his acumen in fundraising, when he really cant fundraise.

Funny you mention this because I was thinking the same thing. I recall him saying he needed to get in better shape after his health scare last year, but he kind of looks like he’s worse off.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Jesus...I don't like him as a coach...but a person can't thrive doing that. I hope he's ok

So he got all this credit for being a qb guru. The real question is how good could have those qbs had been if they actually had a qb guru coaching them.

I watched a video recently of him at Virginia Tech and he's easily gained 25-30 pounds since then, probably most of it since he became a head coach. I can see him being an Urban type guy who burns the candle at both ends and lives and breathes every day. Definitely not good for long term health and I hope he's doing okay.
