Gonna need a report on Gameday ops today, from folks at the game. Anything that’s changed? Are there more beer options - and what are they? What food trucks are there?

It’s the home opener - let’s get a win. Go Falcons!

I wonder how many Dave Clawson mentions we’ll get today from the commentators…
as in “You know we talked to Coach Loeffler yesterday and he referred to a conversation he had with former BG and current Wake Forest Head Coach Dave Clawson. Coach Loeffler said Dave told him that he was going to be bad his first few years and in year 5 he should be ready to compete again for titles. Now Coach Loeffler had to deal with Covid, so it may take an extra year, but he feels he’s on track with with what Dave laid out 5 years ago.”

Prefect first drive from Bazelak leads to a 90 yard touchdown drive. No running room on that drive but I'll take 7-0 after 5 minutes

Bazelak looks better when he gets set

And 5 minutes later it's 7-6 bg after a missed extra point. EIU converted a 4th and 2 on the drive

Bazelak looks like an entirely different person this week.

Two forth down conversions for eiu gets them a touchdown 21-12. Fake punt run for 23 yards was wide open then we immediately get another stop before allowing a 4th down touchdown

Fake punt was way too easy. Have to get the special teams issues ironed out

The special teams coach for BG should be summarily fired at halftime. That fake punt success looked like something a high school coach would do. They had nobody lined up to protect against it.
