Not a good defensive drive there, but even though it lost us about 10 yards of field position, I’m okay with picking a ball on 4th down in the end zone. Take no chances when it’s a jump ball and there’s points on the line.

Finally, a touchback! Could use a few of those on kickoffs. Lol

It’s an FCS opponent and not a perennial power at that level. I wouldn’t read too much into it. It is nice seeing a QB that doesn’t scrape his knuckles on the ground everytime he has to pass.

I don't think anyone is saying we're going to be mac champions but I'm happy we looked like the better team for 60 minutes. It's a positive building block in a brutal non conference schedule. Our offensive weapons look legit and it's nice to have an easier win
