I worked for the USHL junior A team he played for - the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders. (chris pedota was also there at the same time). Danny probably wouldn't remember me, other than I was one of the guys that would escort him to sign autographs after the game and always had a bottle of aquafina and a sharpie for the players!

One weekend series Danny's family was in town and his brother was at the arena clad in a Bruins leather jacket and I struck up a long conversation with him because I am Bruins fan thanks to Gary Galley. Really a great guy and Danny was always a well mannered player out in Iowa.

O'Bs been a captain the last two seasons.

I knew he knew Pedota because we'd talked about it (there's a few other guys here that know BG guys as well). He did not know Erik Eaton though because Eaton left for BG the year before he got there.

I've only met one of his brothers, but if its the same one he's a great guy, too. We talk before all the games.
