They really liked Swankler. They stood and cheered him over and over until Monday around noon.
Because the suspended players are doing exactly as expected of them. Head down, mouth shut. Had Swankler simply reported the incident, then sat quietly and waited for the investigation to finish, people's views of him would be a lot different. First rule of PR is win the race to the media.
Doing exactly as expected of them...suspended.

Edit: he must be reading vwfalcon’s posts.
He was viewed as a bad teammate in Erie and he was viewed that way by players here as well. Those opinions were shared with me far before this hazing allegation was even reported. I’ve heard those sentiments since his first season here. I’m simply relaying information.

He is probably also referring to the Everything College Hockey Instagram post replies as well.

You’ve heard his side, unfortunately, you can’t hear the other side because of the investigation.
It looks like the Everything College Hockey replies are gone/removed. I can no longer see them.

Again, who are the suspended players?

You’ll find out when the university/team releases it.

Good PR by Swankler, but as my dad used to say before being stricken by Alzheimer's, those who are guilty are often the loudest.

No one is going to post any names here because it's an ongoing legal matter.

Ongoing legal matter but the players were talking to the local bartender to tell them who filed the hazing report way prior to Swankler admitting he filed it today.

His younger brother said it on Monday on a since deleted reply on the ECH Instagram post.

Ok hopefully you turn that over to the investigators. When you are willing to offer up the suspended players please let us know. That should explain more of the story.

Did I hurt your feelings because I won’t share what alumni shared with me?

It isn’t my place or responsibility to share with you.
Just wait for the formal announcement.

Why are you here? Sounds like you should be talking to the local bartender instead of us. He apparently has ALL the answers you're looking for.

Maybe I do… maybe I don’t… however, since nobody from the program, alumni or current have publicly shared the suspended players names, I won’t either. I originally relayed the information I saw posted on Instagram that has since been deleted. The reason I named Swankler specifically as the source of the report is because his own relative stated that Austen was the one that came forward.

Hopefully Eigner hasn’t signed a secret extension anytime recently…seems like a really organized program BG hockey has going right now. A lot of drama for a program that hasn’t won a championship since 1988…lol

That wasn't directed at you.

I will say, something like this is comparable to calling OSHA at work. By the time you make that call you should have made enough noise about the issue that there's no doubt who called.
