Year 5 - it’s time to make a change - NOW

Post by BGSU33 »

What more do we possibly need to see??? We’ve spent millions of dollars and have a winning percentage in the 20s and this is the year he himself said we should be contending. We’re not in year 1, or 2, or 3, or 4, this is year 5. It’s not working. In fact, it never really has worked. This has become yet another disaster and in 5 years we’re still 10 years removed from what we once were. Please, for the love of God, make it stop…

Loeffler isn't getting fired in Week 4. However, I can see it happening if the Miami and Akron games are losses.

I was under the impression SL would, because of his history, bring decent QBs into the program and develop them. Never happened.

No coach has ever been given more by the Athletic Department than Scott Loeffler. Very few coaches have produced less. Jinks comes to mind and nobody wants to be compared to him.

No offensive line, Never produced a top tier QB. Doesn’t have viable QB on the bench.

But what is most embarrassing are the players who aren’t tough enough to fight back. Good teams are relentless. Loeffler’s teams fold and worse, they take stupid penalties and get kicked out of games.

Absolutely pathetic….and we still have another 1.5 years of this.

That was the fools goold with the positions be previously held. Very few good QBs, very few good offenses.

But he's not getting fired midseason.

This is Bowling Green State University led by Rodney Rogers. It's photo ops over substance. It's low standards and over celebrations over minimal results. Loeffler isn't going anywhere.

He’s a fraud. Props to him for making a pretty good career out of it. He road the coattails of some successful qbs that would have been successful without him.

He found the only D1 school in the country who could fall for it. That school might give him 6 years to prove the fraud. 14-32.

Actually, it wouldn’t surprise me if they manage to beat Georgia Tech. That’s how his teams function.

I think it's more than ironic for as much crap as he gave the Jinks group when he got hired, his team looks no better with an extra year thrown in for good measure, four games into the season.

Today felt like a Jinks era game. And that should make all of us both sad and pissed off.

That’s true. They tease you with wins against Minnesota, Marshall and Toledo leaving you more baffled

We’re in the midst of 8 years without a winning record. Eight. Only one of those years did we manage to break the 4-win barrier and that was only 6. The rest were all at or below 4 wins at 4, 3, 3, 2 and 0. Zero bowl wins, one bowl appearance, zero division titles, zero MAC Championship appearances, zero MAC Titles, 2 losses to FCS teams, one winless season, and numerous blowouts to MAC foes. The win over Minnesota was clearly an anomaly and we basically have two practically meaningless wins over Toledo to hang our hat on during this near decade-long debacle. We must make a change. It’s not even a question anymore.
