Did Babcock’s son sign the petition? I’m having trouble determining who represents Elsasser in this. Maybe his oversight is just in title.

This is how the first line of his directory bio reads.

Jim Elsasser began his career in 1995 with BGSU Athletics. He currently serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Affairs and is responsible for the overall administration of three sports (ice hockey and men's and women's golf)

Organizationally it's probably not a great idea to have someone responsible for the overall administration of ice hockey whose kid is on the men's basketball team the past four seasons. I'm guessing it would be much more difficult to perform that task in a different city watching your kid.

I read this three times and still have no idea what point it is you're trying to make. Explain it to me like I'm 5.

You're probably right, but, given the number words he needed to use, I was hoping for something a little more enlightening.

It's Elsasser, Kit Hughes, and Bob Moosbrugger living rent free, 24/7.

The administrative person in charge of oversight of the BGSU Hockey program is Jim Elsasser. I think we all know the current situation with BGSU Hockey. So, above the coaching staff he would be the next person in charge of that program. He should be the person with the most knowledge of the issues involving BGSU Hockey. In the real world, administrative people are responsible for the things they administer.

Got it, that's nice and concise. Thanks.

He doesn't seem like a bad guy at all. If he does go I have a similar role in the private sector so feel free to hire me (for a nice salary) BG :supz:

Nice salary, nice benefits, and free tuition for the kids regardless of termination. Also, enough free time to officiate in the winter.

By October the schedule is set, contracts are signed, all the arrangements have been finalized and the budget is set. What is left to do is take care of emergencies and changes. So instead of working out at the gym he officiates, good for him. Going to his kid’s games should not be the subject of anyone’s criticism, EVER!

Good for him. He found a way to get exercise at 4pm on a Tuesday in the winter and probably additional income. Meanwhile cars are lined up for 30 minutes attempting to park, and two college kids doing the parking are totally overwhelmed. Take advantage of all the perks while all the details go untouched forever. That’s the BGSU way. We don’t need to rehash his kid being on the BGSU basketball team. We know what that was and how it was repaid. BGSU a public institution for self serving, then the public good.

You now have my full attention. Please tell us what Jim Elsasser should have done or did not do that either caused the situation or could have prevented it. No generic complaints about his kid on the hoops team, no generic complaints about the con man. Be specific. I'm asking because I honestly don't know but it appears you do. So spill it.
