I can’t remember when he was promoted but I do know he was not hired into this position in ‘95.
I didn't say he was in his current position/title. I said he was there, working with the hockey team. He's one of the few faces I remember by name from then. I'm certain he's been promoted, if nothing more than in title and compensation, since that time.

Quite frankly, I couldn't tell you exactly what his role was then or is now. I just know he was there, wearing his "official" badge outside the locker room.

Anyone able to confirm that the starting goalie is one of the suspended?

I have no idea who the three are and would encourage those who might know to keep it to themselves. These kids don't need their names dragged through a fan message board and into the broader social media landscape.

As mentioned earlier, the lineup for Bobby Mo comes out in a week. We'll know more before or by then.

Fair enough, but don’t be surprised if the goalie position is an issue.

Very true. A culture on entitlement met a University lacking real leadership.

Meanwhile cars are lined up for 30 minutes attempting to park, and two college kids doing the parking are totally overwhelmed. Take advantage of all the perks while all the details go untouched forever. That’s the BGSU way. We don’t need to rehash his kid being on the BGSU basketball team. We know what that was and how it was repaid. BGSU a public institution for self serving, then the public good.
That boy worked his tail off on the floor. Definitely deserved a spot on that team

He worked his tail off but he did not belong on that court. It was a favor. The past 30 plus years have produced plenty of local kids who would work harder than anything to get a chance to play Division 1 at BGSU. They did not get that opportunity. Basic nepotism. That coach received two contract extensions and was fired within the 4 years of his playing career. Same thing happened when Louis Orr recruited his kid. Let's keep the favors for employees kids at tuition and not roster spot, tuition, and buyout for fired coach. Once you see a program go "legacy" or nepotism at BGSU, just start counting down the days until termination.

If BG is in need of a defenseman, there's one available.......

Swankler deserves some for his thievery in my opinion. Dude was going to be kicked off the team likely for what he was doing so he made the report out of pure spite

CHN mentioned in their CCHA preview that one of the reported suspended players is a lynchpin. We've heard unconfirmed reports of Stoever being one of the three. Perhaps you can put two-and-two together.

I thought the same thing when I saw that. I just checked the roster, so far everyone is still listed.

We're now 2.5 days from the lineup sheet being released for the Bobby Mo game. I was thinking they would have to announce something before that as at that point multiple kitties are out of the bag.

I think we're gonna learn at 6:00pm on Saturday when the lineup is released for Game 1. And even then, we may not even be able to tell who the 3 are. This is going to drag, team is going to be distracted, it will be an absolute trainwreck.

This might not be news to you, but BG has a deal with Opendorse. It's like Cameo, but with athletes doing your bidding. Here are BG's hockey players: https://opendorse.com/bowlinggreen-falc ... Ice+Hockey
Coale Norris is pricey!

I found out about this on The Rink Live:

Opendorse is like Cameo but only with Learfield getting a cut. Like Learfield gets a cut of all BGSU sponsorship and merchandise sales to do essentially nothing. I’d pay for Jim Elsasser to explain his role in oversight of the hockey program. As someone looking for additional income, is he listed on Opendorse?
