It’s amazing to see this team respond after last week and quickly starting this game down 14-0. I don’t know what it means but it’s quite surprising.

I think we would do ok if we could just get out of the MAC and get in a P5 conference.

Did the same thing against Marshall last year. Right now it doesn't mean much in the face of last week. Next week against Miami is going to be a huge game against a good opponent.

And Minnesota the year before. This game only means something if they build on it and gain momentum. I’m tired of these one off stand alone performances. Great win now back it up week in and week out.

Honestly, give Scot a lifetime extension. This team is hilarious.

$1.1 million in the bank and walking out with a dub is nice.

Hilarious.

I hope he talks about a thread on azz.com with 40 names that got him fired up.

I’ll need to come up with 40 more names by next week.

2019 Toledo - we came in off a 52-0 loss at Notre Dame, beat Toledo 20-7, and then promptly lost 38-20 against Central Michigan at home.

2021 Minnesota - we came in off an FCS win against Murray State, beat Minnesota 14-10, and then promptly lost to Kent State 27-20.

2022 Marshall - we came in off a 7OT FCS loss against Eastern Kentucky, beat Marshall 34-32, and then lost 45-14 at Mississippi State.

2022 Toledo - we came in off a 40-6 loss to Kent State, beat Toledo 42-35, and then got blown out by Ohio 38-14.

We never follow these huge wins up with another win. But I guess we’ll see what happens in Oxford next weekend?

I sincerely believe SL was a decent hire at the time, because BG needed to totally rebuild its program. And he has done a good job of getting it healthy after several years of shockingly low scholarship numbers.

That said, I do think we've seen the ceiling for this team under Loeffler. He'll get that surprising win or two, but not build a consistently successful program in the process. If BG really wants to challenge for MAC titles again, SL is not the guy to do it. They need someone who can take that next step.

Miami has a stout D. Going to be a big test.

Hogan's catch got special recognition during halftime of the Duke/Notre Dame game.

I'm gonna start making sure to always go to cedar point when we play power 5 teams. Watched us beat Minnesota and GT from my phone in the park.

Seriously awesome win, love to see that. Now build off it.
