Time will tell, but outside of the Loeffler extension, DVDM seems to be trying to change that.

When it comes to sports uniforms (and much of my own wardrobe, much to my wife's chagrin), I've always been a fan of loud and bright colors/patterns. Oregon, Baylor, etc are some of my favorite uniforms in recent trends.

I've always thought BG has missed the boat with what could be such a loud fun color combo (Cleveland is actually WORSE). I really love those warmup pants, they look sweet to me.

It looked like a Globetrotter uniform. I told my wife, "Well, they won't forget to take those off." They are hideous, in a perfect sort of way. It's like they are so ugly they are awesome. Like hammb, I enjoy wearing things that are more abrasive and loud.

I used to be a jersey freak...have a bunch of throwback hoops and some hockey and baseball jerseys packed away...love the loud color schemes from the 70's...like the Oakland A's or the SF Giants. So yeah...I love those pants.

I don't know why it became so vogue to wear such bland, boring sports uniforms. Seems like everybody wants to be the Yankees or Tigers with their traditional snooze fest. Whites/Greys/etc.

Give me that Astro's Tequila Sunrise, the Bucs creamsicles, the chargers baby blues, the Oregon/Baylor electric/volt unis, Denver Bronco's old orange unis, etc.

Sadly the new BG Hoops jerseys are pretty simplistic to me (Released on twitter this afternoon). At least they're rocking all orange instead of brown, but we'll probably never get to see them at home as they almost always opt for white on white. And at least they don't have the stupid bird wings. I did like the gunmetal grey and bright orange combos we wore in past years.

Not a fan of the pants. They look very much like clown pants. My 2nd reaction was "So, we losing to the globetrotters tonight?"

BUT - I'm an old fart. It's not really directed at me. And I can 100% appreciate that they are in fact actually marketing the team and the look now.

Plus, they may in fact be so hideous that they are actually cool. i need a minute for my eyes to adjust.

Yeah, the clown thing occurred to me too. I'll be waiting for some Toledo to Photoshop one of our players in full orange and brown clown regalia. I'm tempted to do it myself just for grins.

I’ll be shocked if Nike made this style of pants for Bowling Green exclusively. Brown, orange and white model will be exclusive but not the style. No reason to fear being the clowns of college basketball. Personally they bring my childhood memories in the 70’s back. I’m pretty sure Eastwood had them locally in baby blue, red and white.
