Thing is, they didn't even play badly. They were just there. No intensity, no urgency, weren't completely sloppy, they were just there, on the ice.

Augustana also isn't the typical expansion team. The transfer portal has completely changed the way new teams come into D1. It's not an accident they are 14/14 on the penalty kill.

Tough loss to one of your former goalies in Sioux City or Sioux Falls. Maybe that goalie could bring some added maturity to a team.

The line sheets had them in Sioux City also. I guess better Sioux City than Tiki Bar in Bowling Green.

To be fair, it’s probably like a 19 year old intern tweeting about the game from home. No way they sent someone all the way out there, and no way they bothered to care enough to figure out where the team was this weekend beyond flipping on Flo and watching it in the background. Nothing earth shattering here.

Hockey always sends a SID with the team. No excuse regardless. Have some pride in doing things right.

Given the lack of acknowledgement from the AD in the last newsletter, I don't find it surprising. Seems the program is lacking resources from the department. The BGSU Hockey Fans X account is probably a more reliable source of information than anything from an official university account.

The program has more than enough resources…they just do nothing with them per the norm with BG men’s revenue sports. Absolutely zero excuse for this program not winning titles in the current CCHA and old WCHA. They just don’t get it done and haven’t gotten it done in 35 years.

Our PWR at the end of the year will start with a 5 or a 6. Decent chance this is the worst team in college hockey this year. How very… Huntsvillian of us.
