5-2 at Cochrane tonight. # 18 MSU is pretty damn good and now 9-2-3. BG drops to 7-6-3, 4-3 MVC. Last match of the regular season is Wed at NIU. Top 6, I believe, make the tourney and we're sitting 3rd now. Good chance to host a first round game as WMU and Missouri State already have the top 2 seeds locked up.

That Missouri State game was a bummer. BGSU wouldn't necessarily have won, but they had just tied it, 2-2, early in the second half, and had all the momentum when they got a red card only about one minute after the tying goal. It looked to me like a yellow card was deserved, but probably not a red. Missouri State then went on to the win.

Then, a disappointing loss to NIU to end the regular season, but they get a chance for some revenge with a home game against that same NIU team in the quarterfinals. They play Sunday at 6 pm at Cochrane -- looking forward to it!
