Mercyhurst (11/3, 11/4)

There's home hockey this weekend against a program with a similar talent level.

If you look at our schedule, one would think after this weekend we could of..... should of......might of......had the possibility to be 6-2 through 8 games. Instead we get the opposite. Weak schedule with even a weaker performance. It is a dumpster fire.................

I also had us at 6-2 after this weekend but that was pre-blowup. This weekend will be a good indication of how good/bad the team is. If they play 2 games like they did against Western, I like our chances but I'm not confident that team is the one who will show up.

Pure speculation: everyone involved is suspended for the first half of the season. We get the full team back in Jan. I have nothing to base this on, just a guess. An example must be made and a message must be sent so no partying whatsoever if we happen to beat the sh!thole school up north on MACtion night. To celebrate a win like that properly, simply go back to your dorm room and play Fortnite with your old high school buddies.

Don't forget no punishment for the person paid to provide oversight, not providing proper oversight, but instead officiating high school basketball games in his spare time.

I was thinking it was possible that some guys would be back after last weekend’s open dates on the schedule. Also pure speculation, and maybe a little too hopeful on my part, but that’s what I was kinda thinking. Guess we’ll see.

Hard to have much faith we will be competitive when we can’t skate a full roster. Playing our backup goalie, skating a D-man as a forward, only skating 18 because we don’t have enough eligible guys for an extra skater… not a recipe for success, even in a year where the league is incredibly mediocre.

I wish they'd make a statement. I love my Falcons, but this is ridiculous. Why would I attend and watch our JV?

The article on the website mentions Stoever's stats, and Ty was commenting on his performance and Moore's coming in when needed. He also made a comment about it felt good to get everybody back on the ice. The YouTube started off with him referencing something that had already been talked about that wasn't included on the video. Made mention of the University issuing a statement and he had to abide by that as well.

YES 100% agree on a statement from the athletic department. This is pathetic.

I'm also very puzzled why Ty was Suspended, if it wasn't hazing? If it was Hazing he probably doesn't return at all, so cross that off the list.

If Ty's allowed to return, and no hazing found, What are the players still suspended actually suspended for?

Are we actually suspending players for 25% of the season for underage in their house? This isn't the OHSAA and the athletes aren't minors. If that was the case 1/3 of campus would be on academic probation for behavior violations.

3-1 BG after 1. Mercyhurst looks terrible but it seems the week off may have helped BG find their identity a bit.

3-2 after 2. Mercyhurst pushed in that frame. It's been an entertaining game to watch at least.
