Exactly. And tried it TWICE! One penalty, one stuffed run. Our play calling is atrocious and this is exactly more of the kind of BS I fully expected to see.

I understand doing it down by the goal line but near midfield is simply stupid.

That Fannin TD play was a thing of beauty. One of the best plays of the season.

They actually gave Orth sone good plays for once. Look what happens!
Re: Next up: The bottom of the barrell...Kent St
Really nice read from Orth there to Keith. Liked that play design a ton. 21-6.

That Tebow-like TD pass was well designed.

28-6 at half. BG in firm control and gets the ball to start the second half.

The last quarter and a half was almost….almost….like a flashback to 2015. It was so damn fun and refreshing for that quarter and a half and it made me realize just how much I missed those days. I’d be really nice to see this continue.
GO BG!!!

There's some identity on offense tonight. TK is such a valuable weapon. Running game hasn't been there but I'll take it being non-existent if it means hitting chunk plays in the pass game.

This is how they called played against Georgia Tech then the next week it was head scratching calls.

I hate how coaches over-think situations. You have the ball at the 2-3 with two cracks to get it (if you go for it) and you throw the ball and it's incomplete.
Why, why, why, why, why?
Then when it's 4th down your QB gets dropped for no gain.
Run the damn ball in that situation; you're more likely to score. And if you do, it's probably the knock-out punch.

Overall SL has called a good game tonight but there are a handful of head scratchers where he simply outthinks himself.

Not over yet. Been burnt on that RPO twice tonight. Toledo is going to abuse that next week with Finn.
BG has kinda taken their foot off the gas in the second half.
