St. Thomas (11/10, 11/11)
Re: St. Thomas (11/10, 11/11)
Ben Doran is out of the lineup tonight, and we don’t have any eligible players to replace him, so O’Hanisain moves from D to F for the night. We’re also missing Dalton Norris again tonight.
It’s brutal to not even be able to skate a full lineup, man.

Looks like Stoever gets the start again tonight.

Ya know, wouldn’t one think that wacky board bounces would impact the visiting team? One would think the home team would be used to playing crazy bounces. Yeah, no. 1-0 monies.

I’d blame the two D who didn’t even try. It’s either he comes out to play it or faces a breakaway. Those should not be the only two options lmao. He single-handedly kept us in the game with some insane saves, that he had no business of saving.
Bring back the glory!

Swept by a program that has existed for like 3 or 4 years, and our record drops to 2-8-0.
Unbelievable how quickly this thing has fallen apart. As much as I admire Ty, we absolutely need a change in leadership, and this is going to be a full rebuilding job.

I'd rather face the break away than put it on the guy's stick when you're a half mile from your crease.BGhockeyfan94 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:02 pmI’d blame the two D who didn’t even try. I don’t remember Stoever having four brain cramps of this magnitude in a single weekend when playing the puck last year. I now find myself holding my breath every time he leaves the crease. It wasn’t this way last year, was it?pdt1081 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:23 pmI'd rather face the break away than put it on the guy's stick when you're a half mile from your crease.BGhockeyfan94 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:02 pmI’d blame the two D who didn’t even try. This team sucks. They're a mess defensively. Constantly allowing guys to get to the net. Stoever's over-aggressiveness causes the 3rd goal. The 4th goal, who knows. Looked like a lack of communication with the D, but Stoever can't attempt to play it to the side of the Tommies player.
It's bad hockey, the team has marginal talent. Will be the only game I end up attending this year. Time to move on from Ty in the offseason.

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

It was. I'm honestly not even sure he saw the player coming. He's lucky they didn't try to award a penalty shot based on him throwing his stick.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:25 pm

That first goal tonight was a play you always try in practice, but it never works. Pucks aren't quite frozen so they have a little extra bounce.

After over 30 years as season ticket holder, I never thought I'd be saying this...but this is just to painful to watch any longer.

This season is officially a wash. I’ll tune in next season after a new coaching staff is in place.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Re: St. Thomas (11/10, 11/11)
I’m here too. I was originally planning to get to 6 or 7 games this year. But I didn’t even bother paying $30 a month (still absurd) for Flo, and I’ve cut the games I am attending down to 3 - and even that number might continue to lower the worse we play.
Like I said, I admire Ty. He’s a good man at heart, and he loves this university. It’s just not gonna happen for him here, and we need to recognize that and get off the ride before it falls apart even worse. This should be his last season here, and I have faith that the athletic administration recognizes that.
