Vs Texas State

Saw the score was a bit lopsided, missed the game, did anyone get to watch? Hoping for a better result against Xavier.

Shooting was bad, ball control was worse. They had a turnover just about ever other possession. It seemed like Texas State got two shots up for every one shot BG did.

We could not get into any rhythm. Foul calls in the first half were almost 2-to-1 in Texas State favor. Porter had 2 fouls a couple minutes into the game and had to sit out the whole first half then less than a minute into the second half she picked up her third foul. Multiple other players were also on the bench in first half foul trouble; Fleming with 3, Hill 2, Kohler 2, Dziekan 2, meaning Velasco couldn't come out for a breather. Texas State was a fairly good team but not as good as Cleveland State was IMO. Unfortunate but hopefully beneficial playing time for some of the new faces.
