Orth was the issue. Bazelek easily wins that game. Ridiculous.

Re: Beat Toledo
Well, perhaps this makes it easier to fire SL so the program has a chance to get better.

Re: Beat Toledo
Inexcusable to not have an O-line at this point. Credit to the team up north. They are really, really good. But to lose the second half that way was unacceptable.

Re: Beat Toledo
We’re still not firing Loeffler. To suggest that would be idiotic.
We will be fine. Go get a win next week and secure a winning season, then go win the bowl.

Is there no sideline reporter? How do we not know what happened to Bazelek

Hopefully, the AD has his list of candidates ready and can start seriously looking tomorrow.

Re: Beat Toledo
Frankly, the ball being glued to Bazelak’s hands a few of those downs in the third quarter is what let Toledo come back in the game. Would have rather had Orth in there doing run-first packages the entire second half.Falconwriter wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 10:50 pmPretty sure he was hurt.Globetrotter wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 10:48 pm Orth was the issue. They completely went away from what got them the lead. That’s what lost it. Coach always trying to be cute/arrogant.

Re: Beat Toledo
If that's the case, BG football will be mediocre for the foreseeable future.
We'll win some games here and there, and get drilled by OU, Miami and probably Toledo.

Re: Beat Toledo
That frankly doesn't make sense. It didn't work at all when they tried that because he can't pass so they just teed off on him.BillyLP wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 10:51 pmFrankly, the ball being glued to Bazelak’s hands a few of those downs in the third quarter is what let Toledo come back in the game. Re: Beat Toledo
Giving up the td and bad play calling is the biggest issue. That and pass blocking.
