He’s a WR. Transferred over from Grand Valley State in the offseason.

He should have a larger role next year, where the WR room will be wide open.

The guys calling the game are doing a pretty decent job, but man… please, for the love of god, stop talking about the Toledo game.

Except doing everything they can to make sure Fannin isn't in a BG uniform next year lol.

Great effort tonight and overall a very good season! OU and Miami were are only two no shows and I think the Michigan game would’ve been surprisingly close had it not been for the crushing injuries.
I had turned against Loeffler for the first time after the homecoming debacle, but I’m back on board. I truly believe we could be in Detroit next year for the MACC.
There has been significant year over year improvements for the last 3 seasons.

Yeah, that also rubbed me the wrong way. That’s how you know the MAC and the rest of the G5 is just a minor league for the P5 schools now. Players being sold to the highest bidder in the off-season.

Really, I think that’s the only thing holding this team back from 8, 9, 10 wins next year. Losing guys that can be back would hurt.

It's an expectation at this point. It's where you still need to recruit and develop your own players to have depth. On the flip side you can also say the FCS is the same for the G5. Unfortunately this is the new reality.

BG wins 34-10. Dominant effort tonight.

First winning season since 2015. 7-5 overall, 5-3 in the MAC. A chance to get win #8 in the bowl game. Very successful season.

Half decent season. There is a chance we could compete next year but that’s a huge maybe with the way players transfer now. It’s time for SL to earn his extension by recruiting our guys to stay and upgrading the O line. If he can do that then I think we have a chance to be in Detroit. If not, we just experienced the ceiling.

Fannin is awesome, but he wouldn't be the centerpiece of the offense for a power 5. I don't doubt he could start many places. Here is option #1 here though.

No apologies for winning. Still crazy people want to make a coaching change. The two most non-competitive wins were against Kent and WMU with first year coaches.

Tempted to go back to the offseason thread and pull receipts of low win totals from several people, but I have better things to do.

Win the bowl and get to eight.

I had us pegged for four wins...so they exceeded my expectations. Not even going to bother discussing Loeffler' s status. He's not going anywhere. We're in there behind UT, OU and Miami...NIU is maybe there with us right now. Not the best...but certainly not the worst
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I think it’s much easier to fix an offense than to fix a bad recruiter.

I had them around 4-5 wins. My biggest issue was the extension…he hadn’t earned an extension coming into this season. I thought it was irresponsible to just hand out a 2 year extension to someone who had really accomplished nothing. Still don’t feel wrong about that, stand by my stance.
The team is definitely talented enough at this point. Game 1 against Liberty you could see the athleticism was there. I still don’t know if we can beat an even decent QB, but against bad ones the defense is really good. Last night the d-line dominated WMU at the line of scrimmage. Western couldn’t find a way to push it 15-20 yds downfield and that’s how you beat BG’s defense.
We’ll see what happens in the bowl game. I’m not saying Loeffler should be fired at this point, but I don’t think he’s ever winning a championship and I am not impressed with much outside of the roster is more talented.. He’ll get his shot next year..the expectations are going to be high.

Toledo loss stings. Still, 8-5 with a bowl win is a nice season IMO.
