2023 CFB Pick 'Em

After a lackluster week, somehow I'm still holding in 2nd place. I assume it wasn't a banner work for anyone.

I had the top score with 18. That's the first week where the top score was below 20.

Am I the only one who is still locked out of this week's picks? It's now Wednesday 11/1 and I still see the message "Picks for Week 10 will be available on or after Monday, October 30, 2023."

I suppose “after” is where we’re at. Lol. I’m also not able to pick yet.

I wonder if MACtion confused the computer. Maybe they were caught off guard by crappy weekday games.

If I remember correctly, we usually aren't able to pick the weekday games. So, we end up spending the rest of the season only picking the major conference games.

Boo on Yahoo. Picking the MAC games is why I enjoy it, since I'm more knowledgeable on MAC teams than the rest of the conferences, although you wouldn't know it by my poor performance!

Yahoo told me their program is only designed to account for games played Thursday - Monday because of the way the Vegas spreads are issued. Unfortunately, weekday MACtion is excluded because of that. It's really dumb.

CoachPMac passed me running to the end. I thought I was going to lose this thing at the very end. I got lucky that the championship week fell the right way for me.

Now, the real shocker is that I’m not last in the hockey pick’em. Thankful for the bonus points!
