The McDonald's jerseys are in town this weekend. Santa will be at the game tonight.

Is dressing as Santa the “oversight” of BGSU hockey in Jim Elsasser’s job description?

Didn’t see the game, but just saw BG hung on for a 1-0 win. Good for Cole Moore to get the shutout, good for Ethan Scardina to get a goal.

6-11 is nowhere good enough, but keep stacking wins and we’ll see what happens come March.

37-39 shots on goal. Typical McInchak game where BG ends up killing a late 5-3 for almost 2 full minutes to even out the powerplays. He then tried to steal Moore's puck after the final horn.

Gutsy win. Played with 5 healthy D all night due to Blake being injured last night. Wozney played the last half of the game in pain due to blocking a shot with his hand/arm. Moore did exactly what you expect a goalie to do at this level. He should get a weekly accolade, whether it's goaltender or rookie, it's very much earned.

Winners of 4/6 and 5/8 against CCHA competition in the past month. Playing much better as the year goes along.

Still not close to where we wanna be, but let’s keep building to get there.

Just got home. Freaked out when we gave up a 2-goal lead in the first nine minutes of the third. Moore should be considered in a 1A/1B rotation after these past two weekends. He made some great saves to keep us in it.

St Thomas is in 1st with 21 points. BG is tied for 5th with 15. Split that series and the teams are tied for 2nd. That's how close the league is.

Cole Moore earns Goaltender of the Week. Very well deserved.

Team deserves a lot of credit for turning the year around. It will be interesting to see if they can play well this weekend and carry it into the second half. I’m as critical of this program as anyone, but they deserve credit for playing together and finding ways to win. Even in their losses, they seem more focused and the effort level is more consistent.
