Big couple of games in Minnesota this weekend. Hoping for a split - would be huge to go up there and bring at least 3 points back.

Just heard with all the injuries that only 5 d-men made the trip.
On the other side, Pohlkamp and Magnuson are both at WJC camp and will miss the weekend. Scholl is still questionable.

Blake was in a sling Saturday after being boarded (2 minute call) Friday. Norris is still out with his knee courtesy of Mercyhurst (5 min kneeing that had to be reviewed, even though he had the puck at the time). Bevilacqua has been out for awhile (possibly related to some information in the police report?). McKinley dressed but did not see ice time on Saturday. Wozney blocked a shot Saturday and was in obvious pain for at least half the game.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 4:33 pm Just heard with all the injuries that only 5 d-men made the trip.

Up front, Schneider dressed Friday and Saturday, but didn't see the ice. Skated warmups, but didn't look good at all skating. Doran still out with his injury from the awkward collision with two other players (one from BG) at the BG bench a couple weeks ago.
Stoever is rumored to be close. He may be on the bench just in case.
Unless one or two of the above players has returned to game form, there isn't enough players for a full game roster.

Per Carr this past Friday, Stoever would have been a go if this were playoff time. However, in Scooter's diamond cutter video it's clear he's still wearing a cast on his glove hand. Not sure how to square that but I don't have a pipeline to Fischer.

It was a soft cast/brace when he was in the stands against Northern. Probably a good tape job and he'd be able to play, just not 100%. And with the play of Moore lately, no reason to risk slowing the healing process. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's taking part in practice.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 5:06 pm Per Carr this past Friday, Stoever would have been a go if this were playoff time. Couldn’t make the clear, 2 sec later it’s 1-0 Bemidji. SOGs 17-8 them. Bus legs.

Pass off of Moore’s pads and it’s 2-0. We’ve had a couple of chances but tonight it’s all Beavers.

On Bemidji’s pregame show he said BG might have the best talent in the league.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 6:34 am 29 second mark: "I think their greatest strength is they have no deficiencies." Sure, Tom, whatever you say dude.

Well, the best talent in the league got outshot something like 42-19. We were never in this one but we played hard which is all one can ask. Wee killed 9 min of penalties in the third.

McKinley was obviously not 100%. It was painful to watch him try and skate a couple times. Everybody else looked like they just got off a 14 hour bus ride. Hopefully they got some good rest today and find some energy tonight. Every time Scardina tried getting some energy going, he ended up in the box. On his major, if the guy would have moved his feet instead of standing and waiting, would've been a good hit. That penalty on Wozney was a head scratcher.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 10:26 pm Well, the best talent in the league got outshot something like 42-19. Jeez, need to stay out of the box. Fyten has to be gone after that hit.

Thank goodness Schneider made the trip. He gets to serve the major. What a disaster this period has become.
