RB Nakai Amachree and OL Alex Harris have both signed.

That's 19 in the class so far.

You aren't kidding. Some of these guys are big. Getting a 6'5" safety and OLB at this level is pretty unheard of.

Couple very early observations so far on the TE signings: Hill and Jacon-Duffy are very legit TE prospects. Hill gives me Quintin Morris vibes. I would be surprised if the plan for Caden Campbell isn't to put 40 lbs on him and move him to the OL. He looks like a really good blocker but doesn't do much with the ball in his hands.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

I assume there may be one or two more that trickle in, but at this point the geographical break down is:

OH: 8
GA: 4
MI: 3
FL: 2
PA: 1
TX: 1

I really like this recruiting footprint. Heavy focus locally while still getting 7 commitments from the high school "hot spots" in GA, FL and TX.

4 signees from Georgia. I think we had 5 on the roster from Georgia already. The win over GT had to help with that.

Looks like Jaylin Ballew is the only commit from 247Sports who hasn't submitted their NLI this morning.

He re-opened his recruitment at some point in the last month or so. I don’t think he’s coming here anymore.

That would explain it. So, we lost Clay to Michigan State and Ballew decommitted. Scot said they wanted to sign 21 high school kids this class. I would expect then a couple more before February, plus a few transfers to shore up the WR and CB rooms.

There are 4 more high school guys (Aqil Meredith-Smith, Elijah Parker, Steven Jenkins Jr., and Elijah Bernard-Blue) that have been listed with BG ties at some point in time. We’ll see if any of them end up in the class.

All of their activity on Twitter lead to me believing they are still committed, but things change last minute pretty often in this world. Wouldn't be surprised if only one or two of them actually sign.

I'm really excited to see what Winn Sharp can do here. AW is a becoming a damned good NWOhio program. His Jr. year they couldn't keep a QB healthy for more than a game or two and really became more option/rushing focused.

This year they could actually throw the ball and he became a good deep threat.

Good class on paper. Signing day is like the draft now, with the transfer portal being free agency. Hoping these kids can make an impact, but the reality is some will look for other opportunities if they find themselves buried on depth chart.
