Not sure if that means he's returning or not for 2024.
Apparently Howell is, too, which makes me think Loeffler is allowing players in the portal play if they want.

Looks like Finn Hogan is out today. Plays sparingly but affects depth.

Patrick Day having a nice game so far. His reads have been perfect on the runs and short passes.

Up 7-6 after one.

Why in the world do you bring in your backup QB in that situation? You are inside the 10 and he's coming in cold. Your starter has played decent to this point, so why disrupt the rhythm and tie one hand behind your back (because he can't pass and the defense knows it)?

A really dumb coaching decision.

Not sure why we’re not loading the box. They have 19 passing yards and are running it at will. Make them beat you with the pass. If they do, so be it. But we can’t just sit back and let them run it down our throat without making an all out effort to stop the run.

Can’t get any push on defense or offense. Just being run over until they are too gassed to fight back.

Yeah, Minnesota is simply imposing their size right now. BG knows the run is coming and has zero answer.

Not going win scoring 10 points anyway. Our bowl woes looks like they’ll continue,

Offense became way too conservative after the first drive.

Was nice to finally get a TD to make it a game again, but the big outside runs don't feel sustainable, and Minnesota just answered back easily enough. We just can't stack up against their run blocking this game.

We needed to turn this one into a shootout scoring in the 30-40s to win, and yet again this coach doesn't know how to scheme that up.

Well that’s game. Not a great season, and not a terrible season. We have to get much better up front on both sides of the ball. 2024 has to be the put up or shut up year for this staff.

How about we get some new uniforms this offseason? These jerseys are the generic Nike high school uniform Toledo Central Catholic wore in 2019. Bring back the all orange.

Nice fight but giving up a timeout for some BS procedural attempt at a penalty could come back to bite us. Just go out there with a play and get the 2yds...which we DID

And then burn the last timeout because we can’t get the play in? Oof
