Do you mean the '03 season, or six years before that?
If it was '03..... and you thought it was good..... well okay I won't diss the Latin Heat show but it was only our second show under a brand new director...... and tell ya what, all I'll say is, ya should'a seen Frontiers.

Does anyone care? the crapshoe sucks! It's much better seeing our band here at The Doyt! There are only a few who like people mentioning osu on this board. If you are all about them, I suggest sending your application there. It will be one less moron that stays home on his coach to watch them on TV rather than going to watch the Falcons live at The Doyt!golfertk14 wrote:......BG played at The Horseshoe and I just wanted to say it was a great performance. He should have seen Frontiers at the Motor City Bowl or listened to it the first time we played it on stage for a crowd! Hearing the music was something different in itself. Seeing it with marching on the field only got better as the season went along. But we have to remember, this was before he turned in his application so I doubt he made it to any games.FliccGirl wrote:and tell ya what, all I'll say is, ya should'a seen Frontiers.

Have any of you heard Creghton University's Band? They we're very good at the game Thursday. But I've gotta hand it to Wake Forest's Band for pumping up the crowd:FliccGirl wrote:Was I talking to you?????Falcon30 wrote:I saw frontiers. Many, many times.![]()

Couldn't possibly be your casual enjoyment of Michigan could it?McMetz811 wrote:Does anyone care? the crapshoe sucks! It's much better seeing our band here at The Doyt! Maybe he was referring to our first ever meeting in '92? I remember being at that game and seeing the FMB perform (though I was only 15FliccGirl wrote:Do you mean the '03 season, or six years before that?

Sadly, we did not play for that game. I was there for it, but not in uniform. I believe our one away game that year was Akron. Well, that and Vegas. Also, wasn't that OSU's homecoming that year? I believe it was. That's certainly one big reason we didn't go.
I'm not missing the main point of your post, btw
Just clearing up one detail.

'92 is when Chief conducted the band, yes?able1 wrote:Sadly, we did not play for that game. I was there for it, but not in uniform. I believe our one away game that year was Akron. If memory serves, he wasn't getting the respect that he should have gotten from TBDBITL so the OSU director of bands explained that they were being conducted by the current president of the Band Masters one of the most well respected college instructors in the world. I guess the OS-who band snapped to after that.
