On Saturday, February 3, our Falcons (15-6, 6-3 MAC) return home to battle with the Central Michigan Chippewas (12-9, 7-2 MAC) in a pretty significant game for tournament seeding purposes.

Game begins at 5:00pm and will be available to stream on ESPN+.

CMU had 2 important players injured last night at NIU. Their status for Saturday is huge.

I had no idea CMU was having this good of a start in MAC play. Not only are they ahead of BG in the standing, they’ve won 7 of their last 8! The only loss was a road loss at Ohio. CMU was picked dead last in the MAC at #12 and they are sitting at #3! Wow! And I thought BG was the surprise team in the MAC. Big game on Saturday!

I’m surprised Central Michigan’s record didn’t come up in any of the research into BGSU’s poor history against other opponents. 7-2 is usually one game in front of 6-3 in the standings. Thankfully, Bowling Green has Ohio to thank for only being behind Central by one game. Bowling Green has won 5 of the last 7 games. The winner goes from a surprise team and becomes elevated to the most surprising team in the MAC. I guess that's better than the alternative. Fully expect a complete meltdown using Central Michigan being picked 12th as the key point, if Bowling Green were to lose this game.

He did. He said all of the Basketball players were going to play football and all the football players were going to play baseball and all the baseball players were going to play football. It was going to be called the Trifecta and it would happen in a Pizza restaurants basement in DC.
