K-State Starting PG out - did we know this? link

Post by Falcon30 »

USA Today write-up about K-State.

I had no idea their starting PG was out of the game. That is a huge loss for them and good news for us.

A lot of people do know this, but I bet even more people didn't know this. It was posted previously, but under a less informative thread title concerning Mahoney's injury. Here's the older thread if poeple are interested about the past thread.

I think the only way we have a chance is to keep our defense mixed but play about 80% zone. with Mahoney out, that's one less shooter on the outside. A zone also should allow us to avoid 1-1 matchups against Wecker. If you guys thought Shearer tore us up inside, Wait til you see wecker. I've never been a proponent of Miller's coaching style but I have been more and more pleased with us playing more zone defense as the year goes on. By the by UK, your profile quote always makes me think of golfer. To rip hetfield, it's so sad but true.

Thanks, I find it quite fitting around here on certain days and for certain individuals.
