Sounds of the Stadium CD

Post by baritonebandgeek »

All I can say...is WOW! Perhaps I am biased...but we sounded amazing! Also, watched the dvd yesterday and again today. I Hear America Singing had me awestruck the whole time. Though I marched the show...it was like I was seeing and hearing it for the very first time. I am so glad that I am a part of something so amazing as the FMB. You guys rock my socks.

It is a live recording of the sounds of the stadium concert. Including the cadence, Pregame sequence, all of our halftime music, the Chorale, and a few of the ditties. It's amazing! :D

Just keep rubbing it in... :? Out of all the shows I didn't get to march, that was the one I wanted to most. Oh well!

Not publicly, but get in touch with your local band geek and I am sure they'd be willing to burn it for you. Or maybe we could get it to Grant so he could put it up as an MP3?

I agree- this is a good recording... however... I'm irked that they cut half of the sax ditty! Just because we tried to incorporate some humor and narration doesn't mean we should have our ditty cut in half - it wasn't anything offensive or even suggestive --- why is only the end of our ditty on the CD?!?! UNFAIR :wah:

That was one of my only two problems with the CD. I was looking forward to hearing Yaco say, "Um Aaron... we're Falcons, not Buckeyes." The other was that they misspelled "fliccs" on the back cover. :x Does "piccolo" have a K in it? I don't think so!!!

You know, I was pretty disappointed about the sax ditty too...because I really found that amusing! And yes Emily...the whole flicc thing was not cool. I'm like, "WTFuzzy? That's not how you spell flick?!"
