Should be a wild night of MACtion on ESPN+. 4 of the 6 matchups have a line of 2 points or less, including BG -1.5.

Yet another half of basketball where the officials let anything go defensively. This team isn't built to win this way. One of Hills turnovers he was body bumped 3x trying to get a shot off...no fouls called until he shuffled his feet enough to call a travel....not saying it's biased or unfair but it's not how I want to see these games called.

We're winning, which is nice. 7:4 assist to turnover ratio is nice stopping wmu from getting on the run. I'm just beaten into submission where I don't think we end up winning these games played in the 50s/low60s

I think we’re doing okay so far. It’s not pretty, but that’s our team it seems.

Agee has been much improved shooting free throws recently. Love to see it

I think tonight's results went about as good as BG could hope for.

He was at like 45% around 6 to 8 games into the season.

He's basically a 70% shooter from the line since then. and that will do nicely. Anything extra is gravy.

26 of 30 (86%) over the last 5 games. Nice trend even if it's a small sample

It really is just nice to be back in Cleveland.

My understanding is that we definitely would clinch the 5-seed with a win and a Miami loss against Ohio. But would we need Miami to lose? Not sure how the tiebreaker works when we split the season series with them.

That was the best Jason Spurgin game in a long time, maybe since Eastern in the MAC opener. He was really good. Agee was the best player on the floor and credit to Hill for a really good game distributing the ball.

A win Friday and a Miami loss BG is the 5 seed. I believe and I could be way off that we would have any tiebreaker on Miami if Toledo gets the 1 seed which I think they earn with a win Friday. Again, I’m not totally certain on that but the Akron loss to Eastern was big for tiebreaker in our favor.

I believe you are correct. If I recall correctly, the first tiebreaker after head to head is record vs the 1-seed, then the 2-seed, etc. We have a win over Todedo and Miami has a win over Akron so Toledo winning should have helped us.

Toledo should hold the tiebreaker over Akron since Akron has a loss to #3 OU, but I could be wrong. MAC usually releases the "if the tourney started today" graphic the morning after the round of games so I'll be on the lookout for that. If it shows BG in the 5, then we would need just need a win and either a UT win or Miami loss to keep the 5 seed
