And another awful mistake throwing the ball away on an inbound with 5 seconds left.

Season comes to a close with a 16-14 record.

Sigh, hope the team has a good offseason and stays healthy next year.

The off season will be very interesting to watch. I’m optimistic about this team for next season.

The girls and coaches are a class act, on court and every interview.
What a difference the injuries and the transfers made this season.
Best of luck to the seniors leaving.

If Fleming, Velasco and Kohler are back along with Porter and we add size, I'm not worried about next year. Sharps will be very difficult to replace, even though she was a bit off yesterday.

Another tough break for the Falcons. It’s sad to see so many injuries, especially to key players such as Lexi. From my perspective, no one stepped up their game through the season more than Amy Velasco. What a fierce competitor! I’ve watch this team all season long, and yes, at times, they were very frustrating to watch. Aside from Porter, our post game was extremely weak all the way around. We were not a very fundamentally sound team, especially defending the arc and the low post. Offensively, we struggled with full court pressure, inbounding the ball, and had difficulty getting good shots against a tight man-to-man defense. We also dribble the ball WAY to much, as continuous dribbling is very easy to defend, and we use far too much of the shot clock. Although Emily Siesel has seen significantly increased minutes, I don’t understand why she wasn’t more involved in the offense, especially since she is one of the best pure shooters on the team. She is also one of the better defensive players on the team. I commend Erica Porter for working on her free throw shooting, as she’s shown significant improvement the second half of the season. There’s no excuse why any D1 college player should be shooting below 70% from the free throw line. Missed free throws will lose games. It may appear that I’m being hard on the team, but I’m only sharing my opinion that this team had more weaknesses than strengths. I believe that in D1 college basketball, players should show marked improvement from year to year. Many of our players have not gotten better. The players must want to get better each year, but it’s the coaching staff that needs to help get them there. The team played hard all season long and I appreciate their efforts, but they will have to continue to work hard to see improvement. I’m hoping for a much improved team next season, and I wish them all the best!

Toledo down 15 to Buffalo starting the 4th qtr. Possible double big blow to UT Basketball.

If they could have pulled out another of their strong OOC games aside from Michigan, they'd be considered for an at-large, but looks like it's hello WNIT for them.

And Ball State goes down big time to Kent as well. #3 vs #4 for the championship. Oh what could have been.

What happen to Erica Porter that she only played 9 mins in the Buffalo game. Didn't get a chance to listen to the game. Injury? Nothing published.
