To me, all signs are pointing to this being an 11th hour fall through. Perhaps related to buyout, maybe Simon got cold feet, maybe DVDM sweet talked him into staying. Our gain!

New follows from Utah St men’s basketball overnight. Alan Huss - High Point, Flynn Clayman, the High Point top assistant who was with Simon at Southern Utah, and Will Wade - McNeese St.

Interesting....Huss was just hired by High Point in 2023.

24 hours later and no one knows anything. This is hilarious. Their AD has not done a great job with her first hiring process.

I don't think either Simon or Toledo Tod are likely to land the Utah St. gig at this point.

I did hear Braelon Green -- Arizona St. transfer was on campus.

In other words he didn’t get the job again this year.

Extremely happy to eat my words and am going to retire from my short lived career as an attempted insider.

I think it’s going to be Calhoun, lesser chance Huss from High Point but either way, happy to be wrong. Simon wanted it.

Now it’s time to support it. Recruits will be rolling in over the next few weeks.

There is no need to bring up old coaching lists. There is no need to discuss Ricardo Greer. Got it?
