I'm all for the colored endzones, it needs to look more filled than it did last season.

I believe after Boise, school colored sports turf is no longer allowed (unless of course it's green).

Why's that? Having a gimmicky blue field can only increase intendence, not like a team like Boise State would need it.

People need to start chipping some money into the athletic dept.

DD....you really need to submit this to Krebs. That would look fantastic on gameday. And this is probably a dream, but imagine this.....the view of Cleveland Browns stadium painted up like that from the Spirit of Akron. That would be quite the marketing photo for the university![/quote]

DD, I agree with this post...your creativity has resulted in what looks like it'd be a great looking field. Submit it to Paul Krebs...what do you have to lose...all he could do was say no, correct? ( I know, he could say YES too, before somebody jumps on it)

I agree with a few on here that the endzone should be painted in again (ala early 1980s). Also, last season we used "Falcons" in the new font but the end zone looked bare. . .now that we have the new word marks lets put "Bowling Green" in the end zone. . .

If I'm not mistaken, members of the AD office scan the forums every now and then as it is.

What about the new Falcon head? Don't you think the department will want to put that onto all of their merchandise/fields/courts from now on?

That could be, but they came out with it identified as the "retail mark" and the one on that field as the "revised traditional athletic mark" so since I prefer that one, that is the one I used :D
