Honestly I would expect him to wear a large brace forever given the last two years. Just as a safety measure.

But the fact he is practicing at all is a good sign.
My daughter was at Todd Simon's youth camp this week. The players put on a dunk contest for the kids, and per my daughter "Jamai (Felt) won and it wasn't even close! He's the best dunker I've ever seen!" I pulled up the roster on my phone for her to confirm and she identified Felt as the dunk contest winner right away.

Seemingly great news on the Jamai Felt front!

Yes, that was during parents afternoon and Jamai did win the contest.

They were also dunking on the 8-10yo 9' rims, so take the quality of dunks with a grain of salt. But was nice to see him playing with no braces or anything.

Yo Yo is going to do just fine in the MAC. 20 points and 6 rebounds against Spain today.

That drive and dunk!
Also saw he was 3-5 from 3pt, 8-14 overall. Lots to be excited about here!

YoYo and Coach Tum will be playing against each other in the Olympic Qualifier as Bahamas plays Lebanon Saturday at 1130am eastern. Pretty darn cool!

Watched the game, Bahamas won by 17 as Coach Tum has 4 NBA lottery picks around him in DeAndre Ayton, Eric Gordon, Buddy Hield and future NBA lottery pick VJ Edgecombe (5-star incoming freshman at Baylor, the real deal). Sammy Hunter from Akron is also on this team as like the 3rd or 4th guy off the bench.

Pretty cool that the announcers spent a lot of time talking about the YoYo/Nairn player/coach relationship, and gave a lot of love to Todd Simon along the way.

Overall YoYo struggled a bit in this one, 9 points on 2-8 shooting. Basically looked like a promising yet overwhelmed college player playing among pros, as he should, but still looked like he belonged on the floor, which is saying a lot given this level of competition. He should have no problem against MAC opponents and will be a matchup nightmare. He mostly played on the perimeter, as no one from Lebanon was in any hurry to challenge Ayton in the post. YoYo was guarded by either Eric Gordon or Buddy Hield most of the game and they gave him no space as they were not allowing him to catch and shoot. He had 1 play where he skied for a defensive rebound, went coast to coast through traffic and tried to dunk it but lost it on the way up. Would have been a sportscenter top 10, but the point is the athleticism is there.

We should be very excited about Khayat, and this team in general this year.
