@Penn State (9/7)
Re: @Penn State (9/7)
If Bazelak can continue like that first drive this will be a great season but our Achilles will be the lack of speed on defense.
Re: @Penn State (9/7)
After Penn State tied it, BG marched right back down and hit a 33 yard FG to go back ahead 10-7.
Feels like a missed opportunity on the Patterson drop, but we’ll take the lead for now.

END OF ONE:
BG leads 10-7, with the ball in plus territory. Heck of a start.

Re: @Penn State (9/7)
Stewart is soft. There, I said it. He’s out anytime we have a big game coming up, but then is back in time to put up huge stats against bad teams. Just once I’d like to see him against a team that will be tough. He might be good, but the NFL won’t want somebody that can’t take a few hits or push through some bumps.
ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: @Penn State (9/7)
Just missed that trick play. Probably should’ve been Interference
Re: @Penn State (9/7)
Bazelak with an awesome throw to Malcolm Johnson 3rd and long and BG has another touchdown.
BG now leads 17-7 with 12:48 to play in the 2nd quarter.

Re: @Penn State (9/7)
We are going to be a defense optional kind of team this year. S L O W and nobody present at DE.
Re: @Penn State (9/7)
One nitpick on 4th and 1 there:
I like trying to draw them offsides. It’s unlikely, but it doesn’t require you to run a play.
But instead of burning a timeout, take the delay and 5 yards back and just kick it. Don’t do all that just to still punt on 4th and 1. The timeout is more valuable than the 5 yards.

Hardamon being hurt along with Howell leaving are huge losses.

I agree m, why burn a timeout?
No Stewart is just brutal!

Wait, and then GOING for it? Have a freaking play and go. Come on, man. Waste of a timeout, AND you turn it over on downs.mbenecke wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 1:01 pm One nitpick on 4th and 1 there:
