Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
Worst play calls I have seen. Either Bazelek can or can't do it.
Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
Missed a 51 yard FG in the same direction we did earlier, but wait… a penalty that yield us an automatic first down for leaping over the center.
BG offense in the red zone with less than 4 minutes to play.

TERION STEWART HIGHLIGHT.
A monster stiff arm on the way to the end zone and BG takes the lead!
On the 2 point conversion, a high snap screws up the timing, so BG leads 27-23 with 3:01 to play.

Does college football have challenges?
Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
Yes, but there are certain things you can’t challenge. I’d imagine the knee being down in bounds and clock needing to run isn’t something you can challenge.

Old Dominion scores a TD with 24 seconds left.
This will be a brutal loss.

So many holding calls not called. Any time they got out of the pocket they held the end....never called. It's impossible to release and contain.

Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
Bazelek was cleary hurt at some point. He stopped throwing the ball away for some reason. He stopped trying to run for firsts. AND yet we did nothing to change up our approach at all.

Put this squarely on the shoulders of the head coach. He called a terrible game at times.
And as I said earlier: this is who SL is. You will get at least one loss like this per season.

Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
How do you take that out of the end zone
Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
This goes squarely on SL’s shoulders. Nothing has changed. Thank god we have an NFL level tight end that makes this team competitive.
That was terrible.

Bad loss. CFP dream officially gone.
Can still win the MAC, and we have a team that can do it. But we’ve gotta be WAY better than that to win games in the MAC.

Re: vs. Old Dominion (9/28)
At one point BG had something like a 2nd and 3 near midfield and SL calls for a pass play. Bazalak gets sacked and BG ends up punting. Why would you not just try and run the ball twice there to get the first down?
Terrible situational awareness by the coach, because he knew his team was in a dogfight.
