Just glad we got the win.

Gotta be a whole lot better next week.

Sometimes you just need to get back in the W column. Today was no where near good enough but we're 1-0 thanks to Fannin

I didn't get to see it, but judging by the score and the comments, it was an ugly win. I'll take it, mind you, but it's another red flag for the program as far as I'm concerned.

We have got to start running the ball with some success. We are not going to beat teams being 1 dimensional. What was the deal with Stewart today? Didn’t see where he got hurt last week.

We have no shot at beating NIU if we play like this next week.

I saw the second half.
Bad news:
An ugly win
Good news:
A game we probably would’ve lost last year
Other thought:
Fannin should win the Heisman at this point in the season (he won’t, but he should)

No idea about Stewart. He looked okay on the sidelines. Only thing I can think is his ankle is still giving him issues. The run game is being shutdown because there's no deep threat in the pass game. Akron was going man on the outside and loading the box with some safety help. They obviously watched the film from the ODU game. Going to be an issue until some guys get healthy at WR.

A win is a win....much better than a loss. Buff went in and beat NIU a week after NIU beat ND. Akron has some talent and played hard, I give them credit. We did just enough to win...which is concerning. Stewart was dressed again but I don't know what's really going on there. The D is missing the fire they had the first 3 weeks of the season. Where did that go?

I'd like to see Lucian Anderson at QB more. A dual threat QB who has a very bright future. Is Orth done for the season?

100%...Connor played well the first three weeks cuz the OL protected him. I don't think he was sacked until late in the A&M game. He wasn't sacked against Fordham and Penn State. He's been sacked 5 or 6 times in the last two games. Also, the run blocking has been weak. We have backs that can run and yet the OL hasn't been the same since A&M.

I was told Orth is pretty much done. He had surgery in December and has not been cleared by his physician. With the season pretty much halfway over you can connect the dots.

Damn, that sucks. He's a hard nosed kid with high character. Sorry to hear that but thanks for the info.

If that TE had turned around a couple of seconds earlier...could have been bad..very bad.

Cracks me up that our TE runs the jet sweep
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
