"My gut tells me BG is probably doing some minor prep for Miami behind the scenes. "

You may very well be right about that.........which worries me about the BSU game. They are good enough that if we overlook them, we could very easily get burned.

If I were in SL's shoes, the 13th-16th would have been dedicated to coaches reviewing film for Miami, then transitioning to Ball State beginning the 17th and prep like a normal Saturday game week. That way come the 24th you hit the ground running with the players and all the scheme stuff is already done, it's just implementation like usual.

Like doing extra prep during the bye for a big game coming. Totally agree with this. You still dedicate a full allotment of prep time to Ball State this week, but you take advantage of the extra time between games to have in your pocket for next week.

I wasn't sure if an article like this deserved its own thread, but great feature today on the relationship between Loeffler and and BGSU Volleyball HC Danijela Tomic. I would call it a worthwhile read.

Ball State’s top receiver Justin Bowick isn’t playing today. He’s decided to sit out the last 2 games of the year to preserve his redshirt.

I'm happy were not hosting this game. With Indiana and Ohio st playing nobody was showing up.

Efficient touchdown drive for us

Bazelak looks off today. Several overthrows already.

This team goes as Bazelak goes and he’s been wildly inaccurate today. It’s crazy how inconsistent he is. When he’s on he looks like a world beater and when he’s off it’s U G L Y. Hoping he settles down so we can put Ball State away. This shouldn’t even be a game.

This is quickly following the classic Loeffler letdown game formula. Gotta pick it up on offense. Baz has been wild
