STRANDED IN SEATTLE

Post by jacojdm »

i'm writing this from the lobby of the paramount hotel in seattle. we just got back from boeing field where we were supposed to have boarded a charter back to metcalf field at 500 PM. due to problems w/ the plane, we aren't leaving. the team, cheerleaders, mascot, band and support staff are all here in seattle until at least tomorrow morning. janna blais and the athletic dept are working on getting us a charter w/ a different charter company tomorrow.

BTW, seattle is killer. wow. it's so clean and pleasant.

i'm off to find a place to store the king salmon that i bought today for tomorrow's dinner.

Kinda reminds me of my oddessy home from the GMAC Bowl! The WMU basketball team was stuck there as well on their way back to K-zoo after beating WVU.

Not yet, I here they will be at the Cleveland airport at around 11:30 this morning. Maybe since you live in Cleveland you should ask your mommy if you could go see Kate.

Last rumor I heard was that they were on the plan around 9:30 this morning and should be back by this afternoon - haven't talked to anyone in the band though so who knows - granted all the phones i've called are off - meaning, the batteries are dead or they're in the air :)

Just got back to BG. Except we have to go back to the CMA because the Toledo airport personnel neglected to unload an ENTIRE cargo-hold and all of the instruments, as well as Freida , is still in Toledo. The buses are going back to pick it up.

Seattle was wonderful; I hope to go back someday when I have money. It maybe a while

One of the best trips of my life! I wish everyone could have gone out there :D
