Given graduations and transfer portal announcements, thought it would be valuable to look at what's left on the roster for 2025 and where the staff is going to likely need to fill gaps through the transfer portal. Class designations are 2025 projections. This does not include anyone from the incoming 2025 class since there are usually some guys who don't end up enrolling.
QB - Lucian Anderson (R-So.), Jonny Sorensen (So.), Baron May (Sr.)
HB - Justin Pegues (Sr.), Bryce DeFalco (R-So.), Jaden Copening (So.), Mar-Kel Porter (So.), Cameron Pettaway, So.)
TE - Elijah Boyd (Sr.), Blane Cleaver (Sr.) Jacob Harris (R-So.), Eli Jacon-Duffy (So.), Caden Campbell (So.), Ocean Brabbs (So.)
WR - Finn Hogan (Sr.), Rahkeem Smith (Sr.), Dom Grguric (Sr.) Trey Johnson (Jr.), Shawn Thigpen (R-So.), Jared Merk (R-So.), Cynceir McNeal (R-So.), Caleb Goodloe (So.), Winn Sharp (So.), Pierce St. Geme (So.)
OG - Alex Padgett (Sr.), James Thomas (R-So.)
OT - Nate Pabst (Sr.), Dillon Robinson (So.), Alex Harris (So.), Rico Steele (So.)
C - Cade Zimmerly (Sr.), Brody Bolyn (R-So.)
DL - Evan Branch-Hayes (Sr.), Darius Gaddy (Sr.), Davonte Miles (Jr.), Ian van der Merwe (Jr.), Bam Booker (Jr.), Dayln White (R-So.), Malik Moses (So.), Joe Shimko (So.), Martreece Dillard (So.)
OLB - Justin Eklund (Jr.), Myles Bradley (Jr.), Elias Owens (So.)
ILB - Donny Stephens (Sr.), Devin Taborn (Jr.), David Afogho (R-So.), Jabari Mitchell (R-So.), Dorian Pringle (So.), Henry Reifschneider (So.)
CB - Jace Henry(R-So.), Kal-El Pascal (So.), Garrison Blair (So.)
S - CJ Brown (Sr.), Victor Vazquez (Sr.), Darius Lorfils (Sr.), Tracy Revels (R-So.), Coleman Teasdale (R-So.), TJ Nelson (So.), D'kyah Banks (So.), Josira Andrews (So.)
K - Zach Long (Sr.), Jackson Kleather (Jr.), Ethan Warner (Jr.), Travis Kenner (R-So.)
P - John Henderson (Sr.)
Big standouts are inexperience across most of the offense, and thin at OL, LB, & CB. Would assume some of the safeties will be moved to corner if not addressed through the portal.

I have you missing TE-Hill, G-Burns, RB-Amachree. Re: 2025 Roster
Pretty sure Garcia is leaving the program. The others are correct.Globetrotter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 9:56 amI have you missing TE-Hill, G-Burns, RB-Amachree. Re: 2025 Roster
Going through returning starters.
On Offense we return 3 starters on the OL and 4 players overall who have started.
At TE 2 guys with starts should be back....I expect Fannin gone in some capacity
at WR 4 guys with starts should be back
On Defense....Oh My
3 guys who have ever started will be back All DBs....Adios MIO!

Re: 2025 Roster
Potentially significant guys who could return for an extra year:
WR RJ Garcia - we'll see, but his brother just signed with BG and I think it would be weird if he left now
OT Tunde Fatukasi
OL Jake Burns
RB PaSean Wimberly - announced his intention to get a medical redshirt when he got hurt for the season back in the spring, with plans to return for the 2025 season, which would be his 7th (!) in the program
