First concensus All American in school history. 3/3 First Teams so far. Find out Wednesday if it's unanimous.

At least the voters for the all American teams did right. Let’s be honest who really even knows what the Mackey award is anyway. Screw that fixed G4 award.

Advent of social media has definitely helped Harold. Barnes should have received the same treatment in 2009, but only made the FWAA list if memory serves.

It also helps that Fannin is a legit NFL prospect; Barnes never was.

Fannin's name/highlights were showing up in some of the people I follow for draft stuff a year ago now. Having your name showing up in those lists before the season starts helps.

Obviously some of that is tied to the social media stuff, far more draft publications now than there were 15yrs ago. Barnes wasn't showing up on the mainstream lists like Fannin though.

To me, the worst part about Fannin not winning the Mackey is that it's been won by non-P4 players recently, in 2019 and 2021.

Named to the 2nd team by the Sporting News list.

He will be a consensus 1st team All-American.

Does anyone even read the Sporting News anymore?

Back in the day the Sporting News carried a pretty comprehensive run down of major and minor league baseball stats, so it was a must have for baseball fans.

It is no longer that day

Ran a 4.71 40 at the combine..had decent agility drills times. That r0 time is going to hurt unless he improves on it in at pro day
