I am ok with keeping him but we need to see more consistency next yearGlobetrotter wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 4:51 pm Im fine with keeping him. 6-3 with 4 exhibition games is fine by me. I do with the offense is better.
He has shown that players love playing for him and he can recruit.
I am excited to see what happens this offseason but I expect a competitive team next year.
I do wish the offense was better.

Re: 2024-25 Offseason
Inconsistency has been the hallmark of Loeffler's teams..after six years I don't think you can realistically expect that to change.
His high water mark is mediocrity....if you're happy with that, keep him. If not, don't. And I don't want to hear another word about Babers or Jinks. Scott has had six years to fix this...he owns this 100%

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: 2024-25 Offseason
Babers had a better winning % at Syracuse than Loeffler does here. Obviously he was light years better here than Loeffler. Lumping Dino in with Jinks and Loeffler is not fair to him.Flipper wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 12:53 pm Inconsistency has been the hallmark of Loeffler's teams..after six years I don't think you can realistically expect that to change.

Dino should be the goal. A good coach, comes in, wins big, and moves on. No, it's not ideal for program building but I think that's a thing of the past anyhow these days.
People keep hating on him. Won our last MAC title, only coach to win a bowl game since Brandon. The shambles he supposedly left is largely overblown because Jinks couldn't retain any of the talent he brought in.
Re: 2024-25 Offseason
Loeffler will be right back to the rhetoric of what he walked into all offseason. He knows how soft the President is. See the cherry picked non stop social media today. 27-41 in 6 years gets fired anywhere but Kent St., Akron, UMass or Bowling Green.

Re: 2024-25 Offseason
I 100% agree that Babers should not be lumped with Jinks. I'm tired of hearing either one brought up in conversations about the lack of real success in the program...whatever credibility the Jinks defense had a few years ago is mow gone and has been for years.

Re: 2024-25 Offseason
Don’t blame Babers that the athletic department became a complete dumpster fire and both Mazey and Rogers just watched it burn while everyone within the department took advantage. Babers did exactly what he was hired to do. He might have won 2 titles if Johnson doesn’t get hurt.
Re: 2024-25 Offseason
lol yep, it could be the Fall of 2049 and a loss might still get blamed on a guy who coached here less than 2 years.BGFalconfromCincy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 6:00 pmIf only some people in a certain Facebook group actually understood thishammb wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 1:52 pmLumping Dino in with Jinks and Loeffler is not fair to him.Flipper wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 12:53 pm Inconsistency has been the hallmark of Loeffler's teams..after six years I don't think you can realistically expect that to change.

Oladokun is out of eligibility but he declared for the NFL Draft over the weekend.
Somewhat surprised Fannin hasn't done so yet. I wonder if he's getting monumental offers to transfer to a P4 program.

He just announced he's entering the draft. Glad to see he isn't heading to the Big Ten or SEC.mbenecke wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 10:30 amOne more year! One more year!jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 10:22 am Oladokun is out of eligibility but he declared for the NFL Draft over the weekend.

Thank you Harold and good luck in the NFL draft.

That's future Cleveland Brown Harold Fannin Jr.

Old friend alert: Falcon legend Matt Johnson elevated to offensive coordinator at San Diego State under Sean Lewis.
