College Hockey News website has a link within it that you can predict or change past results to see where teams would be in the pairwise. If BG wins out as of now, will barely crack the Top 20. Bottom of our league is some of the worst in college hockey and two of our non-league foes are awful as well. Wins are great, but we haven't beaten anyone significant (Top 25 Pairwise) on the season yet.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 4:24 pm I AM NOT PAIRWISE WATCHING FOR THE PURPOSES OF AN AUTOBID! Now that that's out of the way, on 12/6/24 we were 50th in PWR. Exactly one month later on 1/6/25 we are 36th.
Here's an updated graph depicting PWR by league. Nachos are having a down year. HE is killing it. CCHA has quite the spread. Go Sharks!

Other things I found interesting from the chart:
o HE's worst team ranks in the middle of the CCHA.
o ECAC has zero teams above the cut line. They're a 1-bid league this year.
o ECAC is clustered around the 30 and 50 PWR rankings.
o Nacho standard deviation is YUGE with gaps between each team. They're having a down year with only 3 teams making it.
o Miami State still sucks. Good for them.
o CCHA is likely a 1-bid league (again) because if Mankato loses in the Mason Cup they fall below the cut line (which looks to be 13 with AH, CCHA, and ECAC doing the autobid dance.)
