Not a very deep Buffalo team, seems like they get some bench minutes when starters need a spell. Biggest obstacle will be around the rim as they average nearly 4 blocks a game. Key will be taking care of the ball, shoot it at an average pace, and hold them under 70.

Need to win these next two games and it doesn't matter how we look. Path to top 8 is being ahead of niu, buffalo, and two of the directional Michigans. Even with the injuries we should be good enough to obtain that

What a difference in this team when we play good defense and the ball doesn’t stick on the offensive end. Also Felt is becoming a difference maker.

I think it's part of the three ball era when shots start falling everything falls into place. Once that starts our defense turns up, pace picks up, and the offense is moving. Problem is we need the shots to fall first.

Good win though and most of the second half was on cruise control with Thomas and Johnson going off. Rough shooting night for everyone else but we hopefully a few of them bounce back Saturday

Damn nice to win going away. Great second half from Thomas, Johnson was good. Felt and Exacte worked their tails of and stayed out of foul trouble. I'd like to see a lot less free throws just to keep the game moving but felt like there were just a lot of fouls that needed called.

How long has Butler had that hand brace things on? Hasn't noticed it before tonight and really seemed to effect his shooting comfort.

What a solid game all around. Although it was a 4 point game at half, it didn’t feel that close.

It wouldn’t be a BG W without the residents of The Willows messing up the clock to start the game. 🤣

He hurt his hand in the second half of the western game and came back after a short trip to the locker room. I can't remember if he had it for ball st

It’s Campbell with the large brace on his shooting hand. Butler played one terrible first half last night in which he got benched coming out of the half. He responded with a really solid second half. Thomas and Johnson were really good once the ball got moving in the second half. Braelon Green played a heck of a game defensively and Felt just keeps getting better and better.

Buffalo stinks. Little talent and poorly coached. A win is a win and need another on Saturday.

I was impressed that we went out there and handled business. I was afraid we were going to make it a close game, similar to how the football team seems to play to the level of their competition (out of their minds to make Power 5 games close, and terrible so that they lose or narrowly win against bottom teams). But no, we actually won this game and controlled the entire second half. First half was back and forth, but we never lost control of the game.

I will say, this team starts slow. Against the better teams, it puts us in a hole that we struggle to dig out of. Against a team like Buffalo, it kept the game closer than it should have been.
