The Hobey Baker Finalist Video is on-line

Post by Tech83 »

It is on the http://www.hobeybaker.com homepage. You need Real Player.

Jordan has some stiff competition and as stated elsewhere, about the third words out of the narrator's mouth is about MS.

Kevin Gordan had a VERY nice write up on Jordan in the paper on Saturday. He talked about what a great person Jordan has always been and mentioned the overall criteria of the Hobey. It was well done! Hopefully, the Athletic Department will forward this on to all of the Coaches who vote!!

GO JORDAN!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I walked into the office today and the Assoc. AD goes, "Was that you clapping for Sigalet all by yourself?"

I said, "HELL YEAH! Someone had to represent."

Anyhow, now that some of you have seen the video, you know why I didn't think it was handled so well. (I've also heard that they mis-pronounced Dov Grumet-Morris' name, but I'd probably have to ask the kid directly since I've heard so many different variations).
