CC Game

Post by Globetrotter »

This is my first game watching since game 2. We are crushing coastal Carolina.

Anyone know when and if our 2 bigmen will be back?
Campbell and Butler look great.
The patience with Felt paid off.

We're hitting shots and coastal is terrible. I think 21 for them would play for us if huger were still around

23 point lead down to 12. Going to need to keep the foot on the pedal in the second half

If every team had big slow doofus looking post players we wouldn’t even know Marcus was bad at defense.

Led by double digits almost the whole game. Hopefully we can build on this momentum

Maybe we can turn this into some momentum in the 2nd half of MAC play. Home against Ohio, at Buffalo, and home against Kent State next. Shoot for 2-1 in those games?

2-1 would be huge considering our last four games are against bottom half teams.

Mac went 8-4 today to get the tie in the challenge at 12-12. I know it doesn't really matter but it's a nice bounce back after last season and falling behind in the road half. Women went 7-5 on the road to win the challenge 15-9 so overall a Mac victory

Towns likely done for the year now. YoYo is starting to practice so may be able to play in the last few games?

I don't think it's the end all but losing those 2 sucks. We need yoyo back more than Towns (thanks to felts development), but man...what a brutal season with those injuries.

Having Humphrey back to play some legit perimeter defense and pushing Butler to an off bench scoring role seems to be helping some in the back court. Thomas is so much better as an off ball shooter than a primary ball handler too.

CC is absolutely horrible, that 7'2 guy may be one of the most inept basketball players I've ever seen. Still, we played the game with more defensive effort than we've had all season..I still don't think this team makes any kind of run but if they played with that much defensive effort with any consistency they could at least go to Cleveland. Of course it helps that we were able to hide Johnson on probably the only d1 player in the country slower than he is.
