6 shots on goal halfway through this game. Concerning no show this weekend.

Unbelievable. Another freaking Bemidji extra attacker goal to tie it late. That’s what, 3 times in 4 games against them?

Plus that one sure seemed like it came after the net was knocked off, but whatever. Total lack of poise or ability to close games.

We are pathetic at the end of games. What a missed opportunity. Now I’m worried we’re going to be on the road in the playoffs when we entered the weekend still playing for 2nd place. Just embarrassing. Bemidji BLOWS this year. And we just dropped 5 out of 6 points. Just a fraudulent 15-win team right now.

Better get the damn sweep against LSSU next weekend.

It was Goaltender interference. Flammang shoved Moore's leg out from under him.

Powerplays were BG's 1 to Bemidji's 4. No way, no how did they play that much cleaner.

Both Bemidji and St Thomas can still get still get to home ice, and we all know how much the CCHA wants that.

Williams will eventually win a CCHA title for this program. He’s a good coach and BG got extremely lucky he came back. Unfortunately the program just folds late in the season over and over….its comical.
Destroyed a championship level baseball program in 2010 because “Bring Back the Glory” couldn’t raise any money. Since then hockey has dropped down to a conference in which it easily should be one of the best yearly and they still can’t win a championship. Williams has to change the culture. You are seeing progress, but the late season swoon is a tough one to overcome for whatever reason.

So I’ve basically watched the entire season in silence, mainly because I had zero, no expectations, for this team coming into the season and just wanted to see how it all unfolded in Williams first season without jumping to conclusions or being overly optimistic/critical.

My thoughts heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

1) The team is better defensively than it was under Eigner and they work much harder for longer periods of time than they did under Ty.

2) They have no real offensive talent or threats. They struggle to score even two goals a game. Most of the losses are the result of just not having guys that can put the puck in the net. The work hard and get opportunities, but just have guys that can’t burry anything.

3)They’re structurally sound on both ends and as I said, they work incredibly hard. The size of the roster forces a lot of that as there are plenty of guys to take the spot of someone who doesn’t give 100%

4) It seems they are trying to rectify the offensive issues with the CHL guys they have slated for next season, if they can add some scoring pop to their 200 ft high intensity game then I think you’ll see the move to the top of the standings we have all been waiting for…and waiting for…..and waiting for.

As far as this team. It’s going to be a lot of 2-1 and 3-2 games and whether we get the stops and bounces will determine whether they win a few of are eliminated quickly. Stoever returning would be helpful, Moore has been solid, but Stoever was playing at much higher level. The winning goal last night was a softy for example. Moore has got to stop that. He didn’t, we can’t score goals = losing a game we really controlled.

I’d expect more the same the last few weeks.

Ironically, Waters has the 2nd most goals in the league with 14, and O'Hara is sitting 6th in points with 29. O'Hara's 10 goals have all come since Christmas.

CCHA goalies have 3 of the top 7 spots nationally on the GAA list, and 3 of the top 4 in Save%.

Scoring isn't just a BG problem, it's a league problem.
