Came here to post that exact same thing. That would be incredible if that were to happen. Big Wigs in Minnesota would actually have to travel out of state for the championship of the conference 🤣🤣🤣

If I can't have a home playoff game against a team I know we can beat for the hardware with all the CCHA brass having to ride a sleeper bus to the arena, the next best thing is for the CCHA championship to be decided in a 500 seat high school barn with one team ineligible for the NCAAs.

When St. Thomas tendered their resignation from the league, Lucia should have told them NFW would the championship game ever be held in their high school rink. Either find a suitable site that's pre-approved by the league or the lower seed hosts. But, yeah, Lucia is gonna Lucia.
